We had a great weekend in Manhattan and Montclair! Pastor Carl Lentz, Pastor Chris Durso, and Pastor Matt Bartgis all brought life-changing messages!

We're excited about Connect Groups meeting all over the city tonight! They are the lifeblood of our church—and if you're not in one, you're missing out. Email NYCConnect@hillsong.com to get more info about groups that could work for you!

We also have Exchange Bible Study tonight at 155 E 22nd St starting at 7:30pm. If you've recently made a decision and want to dive into some core principles of the journey—come out and learn more about how to walk the walk.

Stay tuned for other things happening this week including TMNGHT, FNL, The Block, Youth, and volunteering in the Rockaways!

First 15

Hey church! Today we're kicking off something Pastor Carl introduced recently called the "First 15" to start your day off in the right direction.  It's simple to get started—just set aside 15 minutes at the beginning of each day to connect with God. Three steps, 5 minutes each: 1. Praise 2. Read 3. Pray. We have the opportunity to change the course of every single day a simple dedication of the First 15—once you get started, it may slowly turn into 30 minutes, or even 45…God's presence is THAT good. It's time to go deeper into our relationship with Jesus, and you can start today!

Sunday! Sunday! Sunday!

It's going to be a great day in church—make sure you don't miss it!

Pioneer - A person who is among those who first enter and settle a region, thus opening up opportunity and settlement for others.

Everyday is a great day in church, but Sunday was amazing! It was Vision Sunday where we got to see a presentation from our global Pastors Brian and Bobbie Houston. It set the tone for what's sure to be an amazing year in our global church!

If you missed the presentation you can download the Hillsong App or check it out online at Hillsong.com.

While connect groups were happening all over the city last night, Exchange Bible Study was off the charts, with our very own Pastor Carl Lentz hosted an amazing Q/A session with members of our church. Nights like these are incredible, and we're sorry if you missed it.

This Thursday's Creative Team Night is in New Jersey! Hosted at Chill (312 Bloomfield Ave) in Montclair and starting at 7:30pm, this is a great way to get involved in any of our creative teams (even if you don't think you're creative.)

Friday we have Young & Free at 163 Bank St. starting at 6:30pm for everyone in High School. Because what else would you be doing that's as good? We also have The Block for anyone in college, meeting at Dylan's Candy Bar…mmm. It's at 1011 3rd Ave and kicks off at 7:30pm! And then of course we have Friday Night Live! Meeting at Berry Park (4 Berry St, Brooklyn) starting at 7:30, this is a great way to hang out with other people from church and to meet new people.

This sunday is huge! We have our global Vision Sunday presentation, and a new location for this week. We'll be meeting at the Grand Ballroom in the Manhattan Center for services at 9am, 11am, 1pm, & 3pm and we'll have a 10:30am Service in Montclair at the Wellmont Theater. This Sunday is not to be missed. Let's set a great tone for our church in 2014, not just locally, but globally. It won't be the same without you.

We had an amazing weekend in church with the amazing Pastor Darren Kitto at our morning services in Manhattan, and our very own Josh Kimes bringing an amazing word throughout the rest of the day.

With the arrival of Polar Vortex Round 2™ there is NO Exchange Bible Study tonight. Connect groups are still meeting so check with your connect group leaders and maybe you can build a snowman (or woman). It's definitely a hot chocolate and slippers kind of evening.

Thursday we're back on with #TMNGHT so don't miss it at 7:30pm 155 E. 22nd—for all things creative, create for your creator.

We have an incredible week ahead! Today connect groups are meeting all over the city and surrounding areas—if you're not in a connect group, we have one for you. Email NYC@hillsong.com and we'll get you connected. Tonight we also have E.B.S. (Exchange Bible Study) for people that have recently made a decision to put Jesus first in their lives and want to know more about how to walk it out. 7:30pm @ 155 E. 22nd St.

This is 2014 and we're starting off strong on Thursday at 7:30pm (155 E. 22nd St) with our second #TMNGHT of the year. It's going to be unmissable. If you want to get involved in anything from singing or playing the spoons to painting or venue design (or if you don't know what these things are but they sound appealing) just show up! No prior experience needed. This is your year to be involved!

Friday Night we have YOUNG + FREE kicking off at 6:30pm @ 163 Bank Street. If you're in high school, you should be there. If you're in college and you're looking for something similar but more suited, definitely don't miss THE BLØCK @ Fat Cat (75 Christopher St.) starting at 7:30pm.

Saturdays are special to our church. We have family in the Rockaways still hurting from Hurricane Sandy. We have Street Teams every week out there showing up and serving the community—meeting the needs. If you'd like to get involved, the first step is to email rockawayHOPE@hillsong.com.

And of course, this coming Sunday we have the Sunday 6 at Irving Plaza (17 Irving Pl) where basically you can roll out of bed, head to Irving Plaza, and we'll have a service for you. 10am, 12pm, 2, 5, 7, 9—many to choose from, or maybe double-dip. For those in New Jersey, we have our Hillsong NYC Montclair campus that meets at the Wellmont Theater (5 Seymour St in Montclair) at 10:30am. It will be an unmissable day in church. Have a great week, and as always if you have questions throughout the week, make sure you're following our Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Or you can email us at nyc@hillsong.com.
