As connect groups meet all over New York this week, this Sunday (Jan15) as a church we will also meet for services at Gramercy Theater (127 E23rd) at 10am, 12, 4, 6, and 8pm.

Last night marked the first of our Heart & Soul nights for 2012. These are special nights where those that call Hillsong NYC home are taught the “nuts and bolts” of what makes us, US. At this first Heart & Soul night our Lead Pastor Carl Lentz shared with us the biblical challenge of commitment and it’s expression in the way we choose to live our lives.

This new year is off to a great start here @ Hillsong NYC - and this week is going to be our best yet!

Last night we were fortunate to have Ps Gary Clarke from Hillsong London speaking, and he brought an incredible word. One of those 'you just had to be there' messages. We were also honored to have Ps Jon Tyson, who pastors one of the great churches of our city - Trinity Grace Church - join us for one of our services. We love being able to partner with other churches who are having such a great impact in NYC.

Well, it's that time of year again, where we say goodbye to the past 12 months  and look ahead to making (and of course keeping), our new years resolutions - all the while seeking out the new opportunities the fresh calendar may afford.

We can't think of a better way to welcome 2012 than by being in church on Sunday! Our services this Sunday are @ Gramercy Theater (127 E23rd st) @ 10, 12, 4, 6, and 8.

So however you plan to ring in the new year - there's a service that's the perfect fit for you on Sunday. Worship - community - powerful teaching - where else would you want to start the new year??

Enjoy the weekend, and see you on Sunday.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us here @ Hillsong NYC!

We hope you are enjoying the Christmas festivities and gearing up for a fantastic start to the new year. We can't think of a better way to welcome 2012 than by being in church! Feel free to make the image your lock screen, home screen, blow it up on your wall - whatever it takes to make sure you're involved in what's happening with Hillsong NYC.

Also - this Wednesday only we will not be having our regular eXchange meeting (don't worry, we'll be back on the 4th of Jan) - so being part of our Sunday services is the best way to be connected to what's happening in church this week.

'What a privilege it was to gather this past week at Gramercy Theatre with women from all over New York City, to share the vision of the Hillsong Sisterhood. It's not just a word, nor an event, but a collective of everyday girls loving Jesus and doing something to demonstrate His love in our many & varied spheres of influence.

We also launched our Christmas toy donation drive, where people from our church will be bringing new, unwrapped gifts for us to distribute to needy families and children this Christmas season.

There's still plenty for you to be involved in this week. Our Christmas Extravaganza is this Friday night, and all our services this Sunday are @ Gramercy Theater (127 E23rd st) @ 10, 12, 4, 6, and 8.

Here's a few photos from our services yesterday...

It was so good to have our lead pastor Carl Lentz back in the building to start his new series for the month of December 'Occupy All Streets'.

We also were able to join with several of our church families as they dedicated their little ones. Ps Carl joked that this now gives us 'real church status'... Just served to remind us that Hillsong NYC is growing by any and every means possible.

The atmosphere was charged, and we're excited about all that's ahead ::

We're always excited about the future at Hillsong NYC. After an incredible Sunday with our guest Marcus Mecum, we're already looking ahead to the rest of this week!

The eXchange this Wednesday is @ Railton Hall (120 W14th st) @ 7.30. It's a key point to connect midweek with what's happening in church, for new people, or for anyone who calls Hillsong NYC home. Don't miss it!

Our connect groups are the the best way to make church feel like family. Small crews of people meet up all over the city across the week, and we would love to help to help find the right fit for you. Email us - NYC@hillsong.com - and we'll make sure we can get you involved.

Hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving yesterday!

So many things to be thankful for. Here's a handful of photos from Wednesday night, where some our church volunteers shared Thanksgiving dinner with many of the local homeless and working poor from our community.

It was a special night for so many, and we were grateful to have had the opportunity to be a blessing to others. All in all, a fantastic Thanksgiving for Hillsong NYC.

We're looking forward to celebrating with YOU this Sunday, at 10, 12, 4, 6, and 8 @ Irving Plaza (17 Irving pl).

Enjoy all the festivities, and we'll see you in church on Sunday.

We had an amazing Sunday in church @ Hillsong NYC. Brooke Ligertwood joined us to lead worship for for the day, and Chris Durso was our guest speaker. He brought an incredible word that helped a lot of people. It was one of those 'you just had to be there' Sundays...

We also had our Thanksgiving food drive for local NYC missions this Holiday season. As a church we collected enough non perishables to equate to over 6600 meals!

This week is Thanksgiving - have a great week and we'll see you in connect group, or at church this Sunday, where our services are at Irving Plaza (17 Irving pl) @ 10, 12, 4, 6, and 8PM.

Enjoy!

We had such an incredible time with @ Creative Team Night last night. There was such a great sense of community across the night, as we worshipped, heard the word, and prayed together. Our vocals had their first training session, and we all appreciated the hot chocolates on an evening the temperature dropped a looong way down.

We also collected several big bags full of winter clothing for local mens homeless shelters as part of our church's thanksgiving program.

Also, this Sunday, we will be collecting non - perishable food items for a local mission to help stock their food pantry. Bring your cans, tins, tubs, containers, or whatever else to church at any of our services, as we serve our community this holiday season.
